Now that's cool!  I didn't know that it got transformed into a real molding plane!  I didn't follow the links, but thought it was just a fancy, regular multi-plane.

Thanks!

There are quite a few profiles that can be added. Also, certain profiles can be used in conjunction with other profiles and techniques to create pieces that are completely unique.

Click on this link to see what others have done with the plane.

Just picked up a few more pieces.

Multi-bead profile, rabbet set, rabbet depth, fence set, fence rails and a hone for a profile I don't have yet. I wasn't going to get any more things for this plane for a while, but I was able to pick these up for a fair price from a friend.

If anyone is interested in seeing better pics of something, let me know.

First to show the size of the HP-6 vs Stanley #45:

YAY! Boxes!

Beaded! It is noteworthy, that this mahogany has some real bad cross grain. The HP-6 didn't care, just took beautiful shavings and I ended up with this profile.

Yeah, $50 sounds like a lot... Once you're in, they got ya! Can't fight it man.

I am working on making my own profiles, and hones though. And another more secretive project with it. Well, two actually... Should be fun to see if I can pull this off!

Ooooooooo tell us morreee

Not my intention B. Sorry.

I'm not telling more for a couple of reasons. Most importantly, I don't want my ideas to get knocked off... Second, I don't want to deal with any naysayers about my ability to achieve these ideas.

I doubt you'll be able to pull this off, but if you do, I'm stealing it.
