Godet
I got a trunk full of Cherry leg stock (rejects from local furniture co, perfect for me--and already milled) an old wooden plane (not for use), a membership to the Hand Tool School (WW Guild was the bday gift), some Irwin quick clamps, and a hand-me-down Snap-On Tool box from my father (a retired mechanic). For myself, I just ordered a Veritas twin screw vise and face vise; when I get back home, I'm building a new Roubo-ish workbench. It's the most, wonderful time of the year.... AMarshall
I'm late to the post-holiday party, but I have been playing in the shop also. I think I'm about the fourth guy to get the Bosch router combo kit, and my lovely wife threw in a set of Shopfox template bushings also. The neighbors surprised me with a pair of Veritas Bench Pups to replace the one that evaporated into my shop after 2 days of use. They joked about just sneaking them in one at a time to drive me nuts!
