Search failure

I am searching for a thread that I know exists, because I started it.  When I look for it under content I started I can find it and re-read it.  But when I put in the exact title search does not find it, even when I limit the search to the specific forum in which the post was made.  The thread is old ( Eye want. from Nov 15, 2015), so is there a limit to how far back in time Search will look?  Am I doing something else wrong, or is this a glitch?

Just curious, are you using the google search at the top of the page, between the store and thewoodwhisperer.com, or the search that is on the far right?

Don't know.  I use both phone and desk top which have very different looks.

I use google advanced search and limit results to this domain. Not my idea. I think Brendon told me how.

Oh!

Thanks!  I'll try the google advanced search.

I take it one step further to avoid the usually meaningless results from pintrest.  I do something like -site:pintrest.com <what you're searching for> site:www.woodtalkonline.com

For example: -site:pintrest.com tablesaw site:www.woodtalkonline.com

If you enjoy the pintrest results, you can just do:

tablesaw site:www.woodtalkonline.com

-or-

outfeed table site:www.woodtalkonline.com
