Popular Post Gixxerjoe04 Posted November 4, 2017 Popular Post Report Share Posted November 4, 2017 Took a vacation day at work yesterday to take a class with professional turner Chris Ramsey(check out his website). We turned one of his mini cowboy hats, not an actual size one. Was quite a learning experience even for being a small piece, not gonna lie he helped on some cuts to speed things up and so we didn't ruin them at the end. Got a lot of it done on my own and almost screwed it up getting a catch inside it, so def at the end I let him finish it off. The hat went in a jig to bend it and so it can finish drying. My first time using cutting tools instead of scrapers. If only I could catch so well on the baseball field. I hope you will post a picture of the hat when it's done.
