I mean they just keep getting weirder and weirder. What do you guys think of this? Looks to me like something a few 1x4s could do just as well.

If you can't whip up a shelf for a MFT then why do you have a shop full of tools ? Although there are always folks with more money than sense...

Seriously. This OTT just seems like a desperate attempt at finding another way to move those custom extrusions they paid for.

I agree with Steve.  I made a shelf out of 3/4 ply and some scrap to go around the 2 cross members so it will stay in place.  I honestly believe they sit around a conference room at WP HQ and take bets on how many suckers will buy this.

So you spend $200 on this and then still have to cut a sheet for the shelf material? I don't get the point of the cross braces why not just slide the 2 tall extrusions together and set the shelf on that? Also is the little post between the legs strong enough for a shelf? Some one is going to overload it, break their MFT and get pissed.

I'm all for new tools and have been known to blow a few bucks well just because but $200 for a shelf?? That's insane.
