Does Cricut have a place in the shop

I am thinking of buying a Cricut if you don’t know what that is it’s a thin material cutter for paper, fabric, ballsa wood, ect.

Was thinking of using this to make shadow box night lights, marquetry, inlay ect..... how would you possible incorporate this in your shop/maker space .....what ever call it.

I saw it in a Foureyes video recently and it got me thinking but i'm just not sure what i'd do with it.

I think if you wanted to do marquetry or patterned veneerinf it’s not a bad idea, as long as you can get the material in thin enough sizes.  I wouldn’t use it, but it would make for some easy marquetry.

Was thinking using as Cnc marquetry to make batches of simple projects to sell at craft shows

Patterns for cutting templates, stencils for paints & stains, masks for electro-etching metal bits. Some models can handle fairly heavy card stock, so can probably cut pieces of thin commercial veneer.
