gee-dub
I know there is a lot of discussion on this somewhere . . . I am getting older and my hands are complaining. Milwaukee 5626 in a 1st generation Woodpecker PRL lift in a table. With this router or others, what is your experience / advice on a Muscle Chuck?
Mark J
Looks interesting, but I've no experience.
JohnG
Someone else was talking about muscle chucks a while back. Maybe @pkinneb? Can’t really use the search from my phone. not sure which router they were using them in though.
Popular Post gee-dub
Sounds like there is some fiddling around to eliminate run-out issues but the chuck design allows for this. I ordered one for my router table Milwaukee 5625. They offer a 100% refund including return shipping (you are on the hook for original shipping). I'll post a thread once it arrives and I put it into service. 3
legenddc
Never heard of that before. Pretty cool. Please let us know if you like it. That seems like a perfect tool for my dad although lately his hands haven't been bothering him as much. If he ever brings over another router with a bit in it for me to get out I'll have to order him one of these.
pkinneb
I love mine no issues after about a year or two of use. RE run out I have noticed zero difference from the standard chuck to this one but having said that I have no scientific data to back it up just me looking at the end result and not noticing anything different
