Got a commission yesterday to build a Plaque to mount a bell to, and apparently now a bull dog shaped bottle opener. He called me right after I cut the wood to make a change. I told him that there would be no more wood after the change since the first cuts were already made. Flooring sample, the Orange in the floor gets really complimented by the mahogany. Flattening the joint to be gapless Dominoes, because I wanted some added strength. Some 5x30 beech dominoes. wdwerker Posted August 13, 2015 Report Share Posted August 13, 2015 Infeed rollers push the slight cup down to the table then sands it. It flexes right back up afterwards. Tom Cancelleri Posted August 16, 2015 Author Report Share Posted August 16, 2015 A little pissed off at Festool. There's two marks on each side of the 1400. I was doing the key hole slots, had my lines and setup all good. Apparently one of the lines is offset from the bit center by about 1/8" I used that line to match up to the spots for the keyholes to hang it. Since the edge guide isn't long enough to do both from the same side due to the panel being 13" wide. That 1/8" translated to the keyhole being off. Luckily it's fairly easy to fix. Just made the top of the one that was lower longer, and adjusted based off the actual center line not the offset one.... Bad going Festool. I have to really push against the bars to get it to line up properly. Not something that should be this difficult to get square on a router that's over 600 bucks.
