I obviously need to make sure my shop is exactly how I want it before using their design service so, I've been making minor changes here and there since I got home. Well, today I made some major changes.I added the drill press station which opened up enough room at my drum sander to replace it with a Supermax if/when I decide to do that. I also flipped my table saw/outfeed table around which got all my tools closer together since I do a bulk of my work on the outfeed table.You will also notice that my bench is absent.. No worries, it will be back. It's getting a new top and redesigned carcass. Will still have the BC leg vise and I'm adding a BC tail vise as well.I've got the TV piped in for cable and run to the shop's stereo for full sound. I also dropped in another HDMI cable to link up with the laptop as well.Anyway, I'll test drive this for a bit and see if it's ready to make the dust collection order. 4 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

weithman5 Posted September 1, 2015 Report Share Posted September 1, 2015 so jealous, i do almost everything ON my table saw. when i need to i lower the blade remove the fence and throw on an old countertop that has a whole in it for my router table. i throw a piece of 3/16 hardboard from the back of an old piece of furniture on top of this when i am gluing and finishing. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It needed a good cleaning before applying finish in there anyway. I do wish it was just a little bigger! Instead of green and white accent, it was white with green and called the polar series and was a tad cheaper. They shifted my dates and I just got the word a couple hours ago. I could probably get it done if I skipped the side trip to see my mom. She's getting up there in years and I really need to spend a few days with her before the job starts. Works out nice that it's about 1/2 way there too!In all seriousness, if I wanted the sander, I'd order it and the wife wouldn't care.. Probably beating myself up over the purchase. The wife and I will probably end up there after the youngest graduates. He's a senior this year so, might be sooner rather than later, who knows..
