pghmyn
Yes it is! And there may be another larger order for more of these! Pros and cons Few swipes with you LA jack, after flush trim, and you should be golden. Many, many pros to the orders Congrats on the success thus far. Freddie
79 splines, as pointed out by Carus haha. Gonna look awesome when done with the contrasting splines. How clean were the bottoms of the spline cuts? Do you have a flat tooth blade or did you use an atb?
Llama
It's actually 72 splines so far... I used an atb blade.
Coop
Mel, I use a Freud flat tooth that leaves a really smooth bottom that you may want to look into if you're not getting the results you're looking for. We joked about the key in the envelope, but what is your client really going to use these for?
Tpt life
I would not have pointed anything out if I were not at home due to school cancellation. Additional commission is exciting if you can keep up. Don't scrap any jigs you built.
Llama
K, Seriously, the client is using these for electronic keys. A key comes in an envelope, and they take a box off the desk, put the key with envelope in the box, and it goes down the line for reproducing the keys. Product stays in the box so there are no lost items. They stack because they will be sitting on a desk. True story.
Coop
Pretty Cool. Now, go finish dem boxes. Speaking of finish, what's your plan?
Llama
Gool ol' Arm-R-Seal satin
Coop
I normally just build decorative boxes and use only Danish oil so I'm not up on finishes. I am now making some drawers for my wife's work shop and was wondering what to use. The past drawers I made for my shop, I used a sanding sealer by Deft but don't see that on the shelves anymore. Will the Arm-R-Seal be good for my application?
Llama
I use it for practically everything I make... Worked so far
Coop
I'm off to Rockler to obtain me some. Thanks
Llama
Get some of those foam brushes. I get my brushes from a hobby store... Much cheaper than Rockler or similar.
Coop
Will do. I looked this up and they also have Seal-A-Cell. What is that?
Llama
I haven't used that... Not sure what the proper application of it would be.

Eric.
Two thumbs down on the ATB for the splines! Rip blades are flat ground. Use your rip blade.
