Llama
All that's left is to add a small detail around the bottom, thinking a chamfer... And some finish. Then these guys are getting delivered.

Llama
Thanks still needs a little finger groove and finish applied, but this is pretty much done.
wdwerker
The splined miters really make the boxes look awesome. What sort of finish are you using ? I would think some oil could really make the grain pop.
Llama
Thanks! I was thinking of using a Satin Arm-R-Seal.
Llama
Update... Added chamfers to the top and bottom. Did two things, took care of that pesky tearout and have me the finger groove the client asked for winner winner chicken dinner! And yes, the burning has been sanded out More pics later. Finish is drying.

chopnhack
The chamfer really adds to the touchability of the project. I can't wait to see how the finish pops the wood. Eric.
Hey, I love gaps in my work! Gives it that casual "I don't give a $#i%" look. You know I'm just messin' buddy. They look good. Your customer will never know the difference. Only a wood nazi would ever notice.
Llama
Not sure how to take that... But my splines don't have gaps. They just aren't flat.
