lildesertwoodshop
So some close friends had birthdays this month. They are big Sushi fans , so I built them this Serving tray / Lazy susan with plates. Quilted Maple, Purple Heart, Sapele , General Finishes Salad Bowl over all. As Much as I enjoy Building pieces for clients , these are the really fun ones in my book.

wdwerker
Tuna, salmon eel , ginger , wasabi and hot sake can make a wonderful meal ! Now you get broccoli within range of my nose and I get nauseous. Different strokes for different folks I guess.
lildesertwoodshop
So this is my first roll with GF Salad Bowl Finish , I instructed my friends to wait a week ( final coat three days ago) to put this unit into service, it that a good time frame ? if not what would it be? thanx
wdwerker
It should be cured in a week unless you slathered it on too heavy.
Freddie
My girlfriend and I love sushi. I also have a close friend who is a great cook and makes, as my sister would say, some dank ass sushi! This is a great thing to build for us peoples, nice job! TerryMcK
Extremely nice work - yes 7 days is the recommended hardening time for GF salad bowl finish before edible usage.

Byrdie
Really nice looking piece with great color contrasts. They should get lots of pleasure out of using it.
lildesertwoodshop
Yea Steve I sprayed 4 light coats over all but did have to brush on some extra on the maple edges more so than the other wood as it really soaked up the clear coat.
