kaedun
Hi everyone, I'm quite new to woodworking in general, yet have taken an interest in turning. Have only made a candlestick (and learnt why we dont turn with green wood) and 1/2 a bowl (have had to put this on hold as I have had a shoulder op) Alas, I am currently using a very cheap lathe that the old man picked up from a garage sale like 10y ago (came with the tools) and would love to invest in a new one, yet may be a while before I save enough for something 1/2 decent. Looking forward to learning heaps from all the highly experienced members here re projects/tips etc. Cyas around Kaedun

duckkisser
Hey kaedun welcome to the forum if your the guy I talked to on a video game then glad to know you if your not I'm still glad to know you. If you need any help with turning I have been doing it for 4 years and while the longer I have been doing it the more I realize that i don't know as much as I thought. Eventually with practice I'll get to where I can master techniques for using the tools.
