JoshC1501
Here is one of the projects I have been working one. Haven't had much time to post, so here is me unloading the pics on my phone. It is a combination of two shaker bench designs with many design changes on my part. Lap joints for the stretcher/seat support. (Walnut) Seat assembly done. (Cherry) Back supports and Backrest on. Still need to do some shaping to the seat support and backrest amongst other things.

RichardA
Nicely done, I like the simplicity of Shaker and Amish designs, and the room they allow for alterations. Ya done good.
JoshC1501
Been filling a few knots including a big one on the seat. Decided to incorporate it because I like the grain around Doing Some final sanding before dry assembly and glue up. Feel like I did pretty good cutting this wide board down and glueing it back up. The grain will be gorgeous with some finish and sunlight.
davewyo
Yes, that grain is wonderful. Nice job. I don't see your glue line at all.

..Kev
I really like the clean simple line on the back.. My initial thought was that it needed another rail but, I don't think it does.

JoshC1501
Here are a few pictures after assembly and with some BLO & little Sun. Not much good sun this time of year, so the rest of the color change will have to happen over time. Pretty happy how it turned out. Was a simple and fairly quick project.
