Arched cedar garden bridge

Construction is now almost complete! All that's left is a final sanding and applying a couple of coats of clear deck stain. The rail laminations weren't too bad to sand, and the final verdict was for the toe rail. Getting them lined up was a pain, but I think it was worth it.

And finally with a coat of the stain. It's still wet in the photo. I think it'll need at least one more to even it out. Considering it's going to be left outside in the dirt, sun, and rain, I'm not going to get too fussy about it.

Look great! I like the toe rail.

What did you use for the finish?

Thanks! The finish is just a clear oil based deck stain that's supposed to have UV blockers in it. It doesn't really build a film, just gives it some color and makes it easier to clean.
