Popular Post Bart
Was commissioned to build an outdoor table for a balcony, and had quite a bit of offcuts left over. The table was made of ash, not my favourite at all, but it came out pretty good. The end grain does have some merit though. First one I made in ash. From the top, looks like its large wide blocks but they're all 4 cm squared. Finished with butcher block oil/bees wax.
Brendon_t
How did it seal up? I made some end grain cooking spoon holders dished out with a grinder and I would pour water through them.
drzaius
Nice job. I like it a lot. The graduated shading effect is cool.

Surprisingly well, the ash is very dense and solid. 8 hours ago, shaneymack said: What are you contemplating as you stare deeply into the soul of that beautiful cutting board? Sent from my SM-N910W8 using Tapatalk That I really need more Festool in my life. Sigh. Meant to crop it, apologies!
