LN had their usual displays and setup - all their tools available to handle and check out, and some benches with pieces of wood on which to try them out. A good group of LN people available to chat, ask questions, etc. They also had a number of other "merchants" set up - demo'ing, showing their wares, available for chatting. chatting, etc. It was also cool checking out the Furniture Institute - a very old place with more than a few stories to tell I'm sure. Phil Lowe was there as well, which was great. They had a portable sawmill in the parking lot cutting up some nice logs and selling the slabs. I picked up some walnut. I live in NH (no sales tax) so didn't order at the event but did order some Ohishi waterstones as soon as I got home...my little block plane has never been so sharp.
