Popular Post Mark J
Bought 4 inch female to female plastic connectors for the dust collector so I could add blast gates. They are supposed to be a friction fit so great no pipe clamps to mess with just stick 'em on and go. Except of course they don't fit. The inner diameter is about a millimeter too tight. Ugh, I don't want to drive these back to the store, the rubber ones are twice as much and why should I believe they're gonna fit. Then I got this idea. Stuck them on the Cole jaws, quick kiss with the carbide tools, a little 60 grit clean up and voila, perfect fit. 5

Popular Post Wimayo
You can also warm up the female with a heat gun and push it onto the male until it is where you want it. Let it cool and it should work just fine. 1

The technique in warming is what makes it work. 1
