Have a look for Essential Woodworking Hand Tools by Paul Sellers https://paulsellers.com/. It is a current book (released in 2016) expensive but worth it. He also does a couple of DVD's that go with it too.

You can get it from various places. Not sure where you are in the world but have a look at this link for your nearest stockist.

Aldren Watson's books had been out of print for decades.  I bought mine in the '70's, but don't really know about the latest versions.   Since he's been dead for a while, I expect that the later ones are just reprints of the originals, but it's just a guess.

I've done really good shopping for books on ebay lately.   I don't mind buying an old book, if it's cheap.  I've bought several hundred in the last year on the Colonial period. There was a LOT of history from here that was never taught in school.   I've found books that sell for a hundred bucks new, for 3.99 with free shipping on ebay.

I don’t mind buying old books either as long as they are in good shape. I’ll probably order this one off of eBay. Thanks.

This is an excellent book with lot's of good pictures.   He goes through all the various tools and explains how to use and maintain them.   It's just an excellent resource.
