However, I also found these 2 identical and pretty old looking clamps of some sort. What are these?!?! Guys at Rockler and Woodcraft both had no idea. Pics below... Quote

Upon closer inspection it does appear there is (or was at one time) an edge on the part I circled in the pictured. Also I noticed that the point I have pointed to appears to have mushroomed from being struck with a hammer I assume. Quote

Sorry I had more but they kept failing for some reason. Here are some new ones. This is purely curiosity I'm usually pretty good at figuring this type of stuff out and when I'm stumped I hit up my Dad. When he was stumped it just bothered the s*** out of us. LOL Quote

Edit: Maybe it is like a planing stop? Hammer that wedge into the side of a timber on scaffolding or something to support an edge? Quote
