Chet
I am interested in what brands of remote switches you all use for your dust collectors. I have had a Long Ranger for a number of years that just died and I need to replace. I was happy with it but wanted to hear from you guys. danbell78
What size/voltage of DC are you running? I just have a little 1.5 hp system and I am able to get by with a cheap remote I picked up at Menards. Been there a couple years and no issues. RichardA
I got mine from Grizzly, and it's HF DC and it works very well for the last 3 or more years.

pkinneb
Mine is from Onieda (same as the dust collector). I changed a part a couple years ago like $40 but other than that no issues. Its been installed for about 15 years
rpike
I picked up an offbrand cheapo remote switch on Amazon for $16. Works great on my 1.5 hp Jet system. I've had it for about 3 years with no issues. Works everywhere in my 1000 Sq ft shop.

I was too, I went ahead and re-ordered another one. I just posted here to see if there was something way superior out there.

krtwood
I had it happen with one I had gotten from Grizzly. I figured it was getting a random signal from a tv remote or garage door opener that was on the same frequency but never figured out what it was. Never had a problem with the Long Ranger. I step up to the work bench and it makes contact and the dc comes on. DAMN!
collinb
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07WV72DFR?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share Does a nice job. Two remotes is handy. I keep one hanging on a shelf and the other on my table saw fence.
