All the rest is kiln dried cypress. Including all the painted wood. The door panels are some salvaged metal. All design decisions belong to my neighbor. curlyoak Posted December 2, 2023 Author Report Share Posted December 2, 2023 I wanted the whole thing varnished only. The non painted wood is stained. I lobbied for no stain. My neighbor worked with me on this project. The floor stayed swept and he helped a lot in keeping the flow moving. I am fortunate to have excellent neighbors. I tell them that if there was catalogue for neighbors, they would be the highest price. We have a wooden fence on our property line. And at the most convenient location we have a gate. To me a symbol of friendship. More gates are needed in the world today! I truly appreciate all the good people here.
