Popular Post fcschoenthal Posted July 15, 2025 Popular Post Report Posted July 15, 2025 There hadn't been very many posts this past weekend, so decided to post a quick win project I did. Just a tissue holder that the wife wanted, but knocked it out in a day. Made of mahogany and some nice curly maple, with mitered corners. I don't like the holders where the box falls out when you pick them up, so created a sliding bottom, hidden in the miters. One coat of Rubio, so need to put on another, then some wax for it to be finished. Got to love quick win projects. 8 Quote
wtnhighlander Posted July 15, 2025 Report Posted July 15, 2025 Love the design! How much did you size it over the cardboard container dimensions? 1 Quote

Let's just say that all tissue boxes better be the same size. There is no room lengthwise, nor in depth. The space in width was dictated by the design on the top. I had already drilled the holes for the pull slot before I thought it through well enough to make them smaller. 2 1 Quote
