She likes to play "store" with her little friends and she asked me if I could make her a scanner like they have at the department stores. Without thinking, I said sure. When I got home, with the help of the couple of beers and a shot that I had at the restaurant, I made some notes and sketches. The next morning, the notes weren't near as clear as the night before so I went to HD and asked the clerk if I could take a pic of theirs. She looked at me kinda funny but said ok. I found a small promotional giveaway flashlight and designed the scanner around that. After laminating some scraps, this is what I came up with.
