..Kev
Very cool! Does the cat actually use the litter box?

Coop
Great looking Mark. Is the little dark rectangle on the bottom left a entry for the cat?
Janello
Great looking Mark. Is the little dark rectangle on the bottom left a entry for the cat? No, the cat lifts the lid. That's where his mom put's the vacuum in to clean it. Only problem is she keeps sucking the cat into the shop vac. Sorry Coop. I couldn't resist, I actually thought it was a vent at first look

I just can't get NO respect I couldn't believe that she could teach a cat to go into a dark place to take a crap!

Brendon_t
Dude that thing is pretty awesome. Unfortunately, my wife's disgusting varmint jerk face shedding a hole cats won't get into an enclosed box to go. She got them one and they started crapping on the stairs. . Not fun to find with your toes at 3am..
Coop
I feel like using my wife's cats for trot line bait, but then there would be hell in camp. She would probably change her mind about the a/c in the shop as well!

davestanton
That looks like a nice box and a good use for kitty litter... goes everywhere if I member correctly from all those years ago when we had 2 cats. My only concern is that I hate blocking or restricting doorways. Would it have been possible to make the box slightly shorter or place it somewhere else? The picture may be a little deceiving as the bench does not restrict access to the basement door.
davestanton
I see what you mean, but counting the tiles tells me you have 1/2 of the original access width. To each their own but it would bug me.
wouldwurker
I would love to see the face on an unsuspecting guest when they're drinking a lemonade on that bench and a cat walks in the side door and does his business! Cool bench and great work
