Popular Post Unknown craftsman
So i picked up the nice dark red board of cherry when i found that figured oak. I was planning on making some really simple boxes but the wood had a lot of stress in it.I could tell from the first cross cut this was not going to be a box board. It must have been dried wrong or maybe thats how the whole tree was. Anyways it made two nice endgrain boards. 13x13x2+inches thick. I should be able to find a home for them i think they look nice. Unknown craftsman
Thanks guys I forgot to mention the maple mixed in. I am surprised how dark mineral oil made them. I love cherry more than walnut.too bad it's so hard to find boards with nice color. Thanks again for your comments. Aj
