Berger Board

I've committed to making a Berger Board for my Cousin as a wedding gift. A Berger Board is a Skateboard made from four (4) 1/8" layers, as described in Matt Berger's The Handmade Skateboard. Since the Wedding is in less than two (2) weeks, I need to get my butt in gear.

So far I've settled on a design, decided on the wood and obtained all the needed materials.

Tonight I began pre-construction by fabricating one (1) of the small torsion boxes needed for the board glue up. Hopefully I'll be able to finish the second torsion box later tonight and begin in the skateboard proper tomorrow.HvB0fZi2dRCOi-Yp24eeIccQjWMWN_uYEB0GS9Xw

Build sounds cool.

I can't see the pic either.

So was this a requested gift?

It's a surprise gift. My cousin is a skater & graphic designer. When I read the Handmade Skateboard I knew I wanted to make one. My cousin's wedding seemed the perfect opportunity to. For graphics I'm using a modified version of his personal logo, with his fiancee's initials & their wedding date added.
