cjasfenton
Can't remember when those hit the net. Is it tomorrow on Black Friday or do they wait until Monday?

KenMasco
I just called them at no particular time of year a few years ago and bought a jointer plane second. I couldn't see why it was a second and it was a really good price to boot. I recommend you just call and ask what they have any time you want to buy.. ponderingturtle
That probably works better. They had no planes left at 4am when I checked

Brendon_t
How much markdown is there on these seconds? And are they just cosmetically damaged but still work fine?
Al Capwn
How much markdown is there on these seconds? And are they just cosmetically damaged but still work fine?Router plane is normally $159, factory second was $119. Discounts were anywhere from 10-70 off, based on the original price of the tool.According to LV, factory seconds are just cosmetic imperfections (scratch/small pit in casting) that does not affect the performance of the tool. Al Capwn
I'd just like to chime in and say that the LV fairy visited on Wednesday, and the "defects" on the router plane are incredibly minor. I am talking about a small casting pit the size of pencil point. Other than that, it appears to be in perfect condition.
