Adirondack chairs and a table

No sir, last stop would be Brownsville and before that, Harlingen. Bird hunted that area for more than 20 years. Loved the Valley until it started becoming " unstable for golfers, hunters and fishermen " on the prowl for a good weekend!

A month later.... The table is done and at its final resting place with instructions to put another coat if finish on it.

This past weekend my dad came down again and we got the seat portion dry fitted babe9dd13aa448818521f0e664896f16.jpg

I'm wondering if I may have made an error as far a movement in the attachment method for the seat slats1c587b52223d6ef794f4bd0a4d69c51b.jpg6c0a5a7da99326feba7f54ab0d90f832.jpg

Do I get to plug all bajillion of these holes and drill again or am OK since the pieces are relatively skinny. For clarity this is cedar from Home Depot that has acclimated to my shop. Howeved, the finished product will reside in Dallas ( I'm on San Antonio). The finish will be 2 coats of this stuff. e5ae4fecf3f32f3715a47baa4ddd7049.jpg

Please tell me my lapse in thinking didn't create more work for me...

I think you're fine with the dowels..  The cedar is fairly soft and the slats aren't that wide.  Looking great!

Thanks I thought of this while I was at work when I should have been doing work things and I figured I'd ask y'all since y'all are what I consider "experts "
