Popular Post Unknown craftsman
So i resurrected my Craftsman lathe to keep myself busy.It was about what i expected 50% fun 50% aggravation.I did manage to turn some bowls without knocking any of my teeth out. Most were bowl blanks i bought at Rockler when they were on sale. Heres my favorites from the lot.

bleedinblue
Very cool, and a project in four hours? It just seems like fun. I need me a lathe...but I groan at keeping tools sharp and cleaning up the massive mess. One day.
treeslayer
very nice aj, i wish i had room for one of those wood chip spitters i bet it would be relaxing at least 50% of the time.
Chestnut
Very nice, i'd love to have a set of home made bowls. Some day. 7 hours ago, bleedinblue said: Very cool, and a project in four hours? It just seems like fun. I need me a lathe...but I groan at keeping tools sharp and cleaning up the massive mess. One day. Could just cheat and use carbide turning tools. Keep real ones next to your lathe and just don't tell any one.
