Tom King
Any time I hit the "reply" button in a thread I've already posted in, any post I've already made in that thread comes up as if I'm going to edit that post. I can't find a work-around, and that's the reason I don't post more than I do. I would like for a "reply" to simply be another reply in the thread, rather than going back and adding it to my earlier post, which just gets lost, and is out of place. Chet
I have had the same problem but just once today and once yesterday. I thought it was something I was doing but now I wonder...

JosephThomas
I'm guessing he can't reply to answer follow up questions... Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
Marmotjr
Same here. Also if I create a new thread, the last new thread text I wrote fills the window. I have to select it and delete it all. Seems to be an issue with the cookies. Win 10, Firefox 52.0.
Tpt life
In my experience, you will not add to a prior post. For some reason, the editor sometimes stores the text from your prior post. If you delete that text and post new content, your prior post will remain and a new post will be created. I also think this forum requires more frequent browser maintenance than I am used to. It seems I need to dump my cache and cookies every couple of weeks. I am not complaining, it is just that I have not needed to do this to keep other sites running on my browsers.
Eric.
Weird. I've never seen that. The forum requires no maintenance on my part. I've had some quirky notification issues but no problems other than that.
Tom King
replying to this one, and nothing unusual showed up. I'll try it in one of the other threads. I tried it in different threads, and still getting strange merges. merged that one too
BonPacific
Hmm, I don't think I've run into what you have. If I reply, and the last post in the thread is mine, the forum automatically combines/concatenates them, but I think that's working as intended. I have noticed drafts sticking around longer than expected, but nothing like editing a previous post.
Tpt life
Have you deleted the text from the editor box after hitting reply Tom? I saw your post and it is probably worth noting if the text reappeared after an attempt at deleting.
drzaius
If I've replied with a quote at some point, & then later go to post another reply in that same thread, the previous quote will sometimes appear in my reply window. If it does, I just delete it & carry on. Just some random glitch in the works I guess.
