Popular Post treeslayer
So in between woodworking projects i've been helping the neighbor build this engine for his '32 Ford, you're not likely to see another is my reason for posting as this engine is extremely rare. Started life as a plain Ford flathead, he bored it out to 292 cubic inches, domed pistons, 2 Stromberg 97's sit on top of the custom aluminum intake, and the heads, Ardun heads were an overhead valve conversion in the 40's, added a lot more power, these are new manufacture and are about 15 grand a pair, started it up a couple of days age and it sounds awesome ! we think we are somewhere near 400 HP, just had to post because it's so cool

treeslayer
It is a beauty, he’s in his 80’s and has his original ‘32 he built in high school, chopped, dropped and channeled, flathead and has another 31, top chopped with full fenders, small block Chevy, he does all his own work, probably one of the top guys with flathead knowledge, and he drove a Top Fuel dragster, competing with Big Daddy Don G, Prunhome, great guy to hang around with

Yellow Boy in the photo is fiberglass, modern replica steel frame, his other 32 and his 31 are all original frames and bodies and he purchased them many years ago, I don’t know where
