wtnhighlander
I think you have the same make as mine, slightly newer model.
wdwerker
Add a " CoolMax " tee shirt from Duluth and your sweat will help keep you comfortable. Still need a headband to keep from dripping on the wood, especially as it gets closer to finishing.

It was so bad last weekend I was dripping through headbands. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
woodbutcher74
You should get one of those things you soak in cool water and wrap around you neck. They really help and they work.
Mick S
This works fairly well for a small shop! I've found that keeping water bottles in the freezer and rotating them throughout the day is easier to work with than ice.
Tom Cancelleri
You should get one of those things you soak in cool water and wrap around you neck. They really help and they work. I use these when doing yard work, the thought is it cools the blood pumping through the carotid arteries and helps cool your entire body by lowering your blood temperature. How true that is, I don't know, but it does help a whole lot. http://www.ltdcommodities.com/Apparel---Beauty/Health---Beauty/2-Pc.+Cool+Downz+Icy+Neck+Wrap/prod720501.jmp?ukwcid=GooglePLA-%7Bproduct_id%7D&adpos=1o3&creative=62943088633&device=c&matchtype=&network=g&gclid=CjwKEAjwq-OsBRDd95aryprR9wQSJACQnU3G9oOY_QC9EEWFHDWekI00VwEx2uGhEWS-p1foaUu1xxoCJtPw_wcB
davestanton
Just a thought to decrease the temp even more would be to turn that 90 degree elbow back towards the fan, lowering the inlet temperature a few more degrees.
prov163
jlinden7, I'm thinking of buying one of these. What size did you get and how's it working? Noise level?
N00b-in-training
jlinden7, I'm thinking of buying one of these. What size did you get and how's it working? Noise level? It's the 18" and works very well in my ~250 sqft shop. It is not quiet that's for sure, most of the time I put it on medium which I find is a good balance between airflow and noise.
