G S Haydon
.......or something you might watch if you happened upon it? I though of adding some "no talking" videos to my channel. This is left over film. Is it a crap concept? Have the volume reasonably loud for authentic woodworking sounds :-)
pghmyn
I wouldn't have given you a retweet if I didn't like it Really great video to wake up to. I like my fair share of instructional videos with talking, but a craftsman in his natural workflow is a bit more inspirational to me. Everything is natural and not just done for camera purposes. baok
Not crap. I like these types of videos as well as any other. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
wdwerker
Sometimes the best example is just watching an experienced craftsman do something. It's nice to see wooden planes in action!
DaveT
.......or something you might watch if you happened upon it? I though of adding some "no talking" videos to my channel. This is left over film. Is it a crap concept? Not in the least. The sound of those planes doing their thing is like music to my ears. Have you thought about doing an album of 'Hand Tool Sounds'? Us lesser mortals could use it to keep us going during periods of woodworking inactivity I've been feeling stressed all day - seven minutes of that and I now feel nice and chilled. Only got one bad thing to say - find whoever was driving that car (about the 6 min mark) and shoot them!
Tony Wilkins
Encouraged me to get out my wooden try plane this morning

Coop
How timely Graham, I had Chinese food today and the fortune cookie read, "I hear and I forget, I see and I remember. I do and I understand".

jHop
There's a couple of albums available on Amazon and iTunes of running cadences and marching cadences from the various military branches. No music, just mic up the DI or Drill Sergeant and try to keep up. Footage in the raw (as it were) is just as valuable as canned and edited stuff. (More exciting to those who are looking for tips, tricks, and actual users experiences than a prepackaged video.)
