You will need a 35 mm bit, usually a forstner type. A drill press and a easy jig to make, plus scraps to practice on. ok perfect. Let me find the hinge I think I want to go with first haha

bushwacked
Getting my 2nd coat of primer on. Ya painting is so dang boring! Decided to get that started for now and then come back and deal with the doors. Only the vertical pieces in the pic have 2nd coat. I don't paint horizontal pieces and I've never had a run since.
Popular Post bushwacked
Sorry for slow updates but it's been surgery central around here lately. 8month old had tubes put in and 2 year old had adenoids and tonsils out. So it's been fun haha Plus painting it boring to watch Installing I put a piece of 2x6 I found laying around up for my level base to help hold it in position. Then on to installing. 3 3" screws on each side into studs should do the trick. As you can see there are no doors .. yet haha. I needed to get this done and the doors along with some probably not straight walls were beating me down. So I will get back to those one day ... I think . For now it is doing what I needed it to do.. hold things haha. I was thinking of adding some crown but with that vent up there I am now sure I should. I don't want to block any airflow from it so I will have to take a look and see when I get more time. On to the next project for now. Thanks for all the help guys, I appreciate it!! I did learn quite a bit from a basic box haha. So that's all I can ask for is good learning experience and carry it forward to the next.
wdwerker
FastCap sells peel and stick covers for those screws that you can paint to match the cabinet. They also sell real wood ones in different species plus black, white and some other colors/ patterns to match laminate and melamine.

Popular Post Chet
Nice work Drew. I am just trying to give you an out here, do you really need doors? Is this in a Bathroom that guests might use then yes. If it were in my master bath then maybe not.

This is in the master bath for us, so I think you may be onto to something and no doors will be needed.
