Popular Post Mick S
I don't normally do this type of commission, but it's for one of my electrician buddy's clients and it made the decision to bite off on the PantoRouter that much easier to justify. I was commissioned to build a door with a louvered panel for use in a HVAC closet. The door had to match the existing doors in a real estate office here in Santa Fe. I made good use of my new Hybrid PantoRouter (see my review here) for all of the mortise and tenon construction as well as for the louvered panel stiles. This is my SCMS - Sawzilla made it easy to rough out. All mortise and tenon work was laid out and cut in about 30 minutes using the PantoRouter. I resawed the 5/4 stock for the V-grooved panels Louver stiles were done on the PantoRouter And dry fitted with the louvered panel assembly. This was a fun project for me and it justified the PantoRouter purchase! What more can you ask for?

Thanks much. It will get wire brushed then they'll hit it with shellac to match the existing doors.

gee-dub
Its great to do something outside our norm now and again. Great use of the new tool and a great looking result. The real estate folks are lucky to have you in the community. Congrats all around.
Chet
Good work there Mick. Did the commission pay of the PantRouter bill?
Chestnut
That's a great looking door. A design like that is something that i'd have a hard time tackling with out a tool like the pantorouter.
