Robby W Posted February 5, 2022 Report Share Posted February 5, 2022 Another trick you can use to connect a hose to the pipe is cut a short piece of pipe, about 3-4" long. Cut a short section out of the cutoff about 3/8". Squeeze the section down and insert it in the main pipe. You may have to fuss with the cutout so the ends meet when you out it in the main pipe. Cement the whole thing together and you are good to go. I have used this on 4" schedule 40 plastic pipe with good results.
