Coop Posted February 16, 2024 Report Posted February 16, 2024 I need to get my battery operated drills and drivers organized along with a battery charging station. Could some of you guys post pics of how you did this? Thanks Quote

Coop Posted February 16, 2024 Author Report Posted February 16, 2024 William, I prefer functional over fancy and yours hits that mark! Thanks for posting! Quote
Popular Post fcschoenthal Posted February 16, 2024 Popular Post Report Posted February 16, 2024 I have a few to hold, so I made these. 5 Quote
Popular Post Geoffrey Posted February 16, 2024 Popular Post Report Posted February 16, 2024 This one is a combo for my shop tools and my wife's garden tools. I just added the two slide-on chargers with velcro right above the batteries they go with, so I still need to run those cords behind the station. The colored tape helps identify which charger needs to be plugged into the power strip at the bottom (or I need a longer power strip). 3 Quote

Popular Post DerekMPBS Posted February 22, 2024 Popular Post Report Posted February 22, 2024 Nice, Coop. I made this one for my Dewalt tools. I made it using one sheet of plywood. The lower slanted shelf is two narrow strips glued together with biscuits for alignment. All the assembly was done with pocket screws. There is a power strip under the back of the slanted shelf, so I can add more chargers if I need to. Derek 7 Quote
Coop Posted February 23, 2024 Author Report Posted February 23, 2024 I can see right now that I am lagging way behind in battery operated tools compared to some of you guys! Thanks all for posting! 1 Quote
Popular Post legenddc Posted February 23, 2024 Popular Post Report Posted February 23, 2024 Here’s the charging station my dad recently made. And here’s what I have to hold my drills, nail gun and a jigsaw. In my storage room I use some 3D printed holders to hold some Dewalt batteries and a drill. 4 Quote

Derek Ok I'm the first to admit I have a bit of a router problem but dang that's a lot of drills/drivers 1 Quote
Popular Post DerekMPBS Posted March 5, 2024 Popular Post Report Posted March 5, 2024 Heh, PK, yeah, I have a drill/driver problem. I started with the hammer drill and impact driver. My hammer drill clutch stripped out, so I replaced it, and then found out that I could send the broken one in for repair to a local place through work. They repaired it and it works like new, so I have two hammer drills now. I then "lost" my impact driver for 3 months, and decided to just replace it. Of course, I found the lost one two weeks later, so I now have 2 impact drivers. I then bought a regular drill for driving pocket hole screws, as it is lighter and easier to use for that than the hammer drill. The two on the left end are 12V tools, which I use in my tool bag when I have projects for work. I bought the right-angle driver for a certain project. The last one is a heat gun. I'm lucky I work in a home center/building supply center, so I get good discounts and get to take advantage of sales and special events. I got most of the batteries for free as part of a Build-a-Kit promotion that our store does every year. Buy two bare tools and get two batteries (5AH) a charger and a bag for free. I've done that 5 times to get a bunch of the tools. It's saved me hundreds over the years. Derek 4 Quote
