Coop
I'm thinking if there was some sort of bladder that you could roll up from the bottom, like the old toothpaste tubes, to keep the liquid at the top of the container. Of course you'd have to make it out of wood!

Rapid Roger
Hey guys, You can buy a whole case (24) of Ball / Mason jars in the pint size for less than $15.00 at the grocery store. I use them all the time for various finishing liquids in the shop. They are re-usable when cleaned out with the proper thinner and easily opened and can be labeled on the lid or with blue tape on the side and a Sharpie. I do recommend that you use some Teflon tape around the threads of the jar to keep them from sealing up permanently (DAMHIK) and DON'T drop them on the concrete floor! RPCV_Woodworker
Things like arm r seal can go in plastic bottles. Squeeze the bottle and put the lid on, no air. Put it in an old ketchup bottle and you can apply your finish like mustard!
Tom King
I like the size of water bottles for wipe on finishes anyway. I've even stored Moisture Cure Urethane in water or soda bottles, and it lasts for maybe 6 months. Normally with that stuff once you open the can, that's it. It makes a nice wipe on finish that's really durable. I keep a stash of water bottles upended to dry out, and save the caps. Like Don says, just squeeze the air out.
