..Kev
Yea, I have the Lexcel available and have used it before. It's good stuff for sure. Ended up at the big box store this morning because I didn't have any on hand so, didn't mind going with the DAP for this application. Normally, I don't mind spending a little more to by good stuff. ..Kev
Might be a little overkill but, I'd rather be safe than sorry. All tied up to the truss. Just need to finish up the electrical and get some pipe!
wdwerker
Did using some rubber to isolate structure borne noise cross your mind ? Or maybe the location doesn't tie to the house or shop closely ?

Or maybe the location doesn't tie to the house or shop closely ? There is rubber at the motor so, that should help. This is located in my garage which is not attached to the house so, shouldn't be an issue. Easy enough to add some later if needed.
Popular Post ..Kev
Busy day! As the main trunk will be coming in on the wall where my wood storage is, it all had to come down and a new home found. I'd like it to go back to that location but, we'll see how the drops work out and what's left.. Here's the wall before.. I did have my scrap bin out when I remembered to grab a pic And, here's the wall with everything gone.. Ready for some DC drops! Directly behind this wall is my garage where the new (and old) DC lives. I salvaged the rack as there was nothing wrong with it and relocated into the lathe room. And, of course, loaded it all back up.. I did some severe thinning of the scrap while I was at it!

JosephThomas
Run a line or 2 off of the trunk down to my house while you're at it.
Tom Cancelleri
Don't be afraid the first time you turn it on. It's a hell of a presence, your cyclone body will twist a touch, the pail if you use one of the industrial metal cans that they recommend will seal and create a ton of vacuum inside and you'll hear that in the movement of things. It's AWESOME!

Tom Cancelleri
I would be interested to see the ducting plan on paper versus installed, kind of side by side. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
