JohnG
Supporting! I just noticed that I can no longer “like” or “react” to posts. Not sure if it is related to the ad removal. The button is gone. Tried logging out/in and using different devices and browsers. Anyone else run into this?

wtnhighlander
I see the "Like" button, so it must be related to user access level.

Mark J
Hurray! I would have responded sooner, but I'd almost given up on phone access and was just giving it one more try. Still I'll have to wait till I sign on with a computer to go Supporter. I can't see the option because of the ads.

Popular Post Richard Brown
On 2/1/2020 at 10:49 AM, Mark J said: I understand that hosting a forum costs money and that advertising is revenue, but when the ads achieve a certain level of annoying, forum participants will find other places to seek information or enjoy their time. I usually use my square phone to surf this and a couple of other forums as I no longer spend the day in front of a computer, but the way these ads are being presented on my phone I will likely have to confine my participation to those occasions that I am on a computer. After leaving a popular forum that was taken over by ads, I tried to run my own forum. I did do based on only donations. After several years I gave up. Donations do not come in on a timely manner or consistent bases. I’m not sure why they changed things or by how much. I’m just thankful to have a forum available to use at the moment. .
