chazan
I tried the suggestions and it worked perfectly. I used mineral spirits for the rollers and clear wax for metal on the table. Thanks to all!

Denette
Good thread! Anyone have any tips for cleaning dried glue off the rubber rollers on the 735? I went to clean mine after reading the thread and it looks like I got impatient when I cleaned up my last cutting board and some glue got on the rollers. wdwerker
Mineral spirits, acetone or MEK
Brendon_t
Was going to say acetone also. If it comes to it, cut it flush or subflush with a sharp chisel. A dimple in the roller won't cause any harm. A blob of glue can indent into softer species.
wdwerker
MEK is nasty powerful stuff, gloves and work outdoors, probably banned on the left coast !
wtnhighlander
MEK is nasty powerful stuff, gloves and work outdoors, probably banned on the left coast ! Banned in lots of places! At work, prior to becoming totallt off-limits, it was known as MethylEthylKillyadead.
wdwerker
But it works wonders on rubber printing press rollers ! They sell it at Lowes here ! Can't get decent laquer thinner, the EPA frowns on toluene these days and that's the stuff that's needed for good laquer thinner ! Thankfully I've been spraying water bourne finishes for years. The cheap laquer thinner works for all sorts of cleanup jobs with pigments, stains & such.
RugbyPiglet
I did not have mineral spirits laying around, so I used paint thinner instead. What're the chances I ruined these rollers and should replace them?
wtnhighlander
I'd guess the risk is small. Have you noticed any issues since cleaning the rollers?

BillyJack
We will use Lacquer thinner, but just to wipe off gunk.
