I didn't mess with a joint at the sink itself. it's actually one piece with an add on (joint) to the left of the the sink. The joint consisted of biscuit joining about an 8 inch piece. I'm actually doing another countertop. This one if for my brother. I will be using two joint miter bolts in the seam between two 6 foot boards.
