It was a good show and funny but, I was sitting too close to a speaker. Between her high pitched voice, her rapid speech pattern, the loud speaker and my hearing issues it was hard for me to catch a lot of the jokes. It was a sell-out crowd but for a small town (40,000) that is not hard to accomplish. We did enjoy it though. Rog I always wonder why some public venues seem to think it needs to be as loud as possible, seems it would be a more pleasant experience if it didn't hurt your ears? Gixxerjoe04
I think I like Seinfeld best, for shows that are new now, don't know if Modern Family counts as a sitcom, but it's the funniest show on TV.
Denette
I'm going to be the weirdo and say Waiting for God, the BBC sitcom from the early '90s about an idealist and a cynic who room next door to one another at a retirement home. Sounds like the Odd Couple.

Rapid Roger
Must be under 30. Just a kid and has seen shows on TV that you and I wouldn't waste the time to watch.

Hell, I'm only 37 and I'd much rather watch the old shows, I could watch The Rifleman and The Andy Griffith show all day, what's even better is my two year old would sit and watch them with me and I wouldn't have to worry about him learning any new phrases!

woodbutcher74
I get the feeling that a lot of the posters weren't around before cable TV. We had three channels to pick from CBS, NBC and ABC.

Well, I'm only 72 and all I remember about TV is the old sitcoms. These days, if it isn't on History or Discovery channels, I've never seen it. (and I don't mean "Necked and Afraid" either )

Chestnut
I haven't read every post cause some were TLDR. I'm surprised i didn't see Home Improvement. His new show is pretty good too (last Man Standing), I like the jokes on his other work in it as well as some of the political humor.
