Popular Post woodbutcher
Hello WoodTalkOnline, im pretty new to this forum, just joined last week. Ive been a lurker for a while, but just hadnt made a profile until recently. Im pretty new to woodworking, last August or so I was looking into building a bookcase and stumbled upon a New Yankee Workshop episode. At that time I had no idea who Norm was. I got more and more interested in woodworking and soon found a fantastic channel called the Wood Whisperer. I was hooked on woodworking from then on. My main woodworking interests are furniture, cabinets, and i love making jigs. Ill post a picture of two bedside tables i made that were from the NYW collection, they are a great source of pride for me. I dont love my username, but i like to be original, and my last name is Butcher, so i just went with it.

Ah, a reverse Montana/ND joke looms! (You heard about the man who moved from ND to Montana and raised the woodworking proficiency of both states?) woodbutcher74
Welcome to the forum. I happen to like my username. It was a nick name my Dad affectionately gave me when I started wood working. When I first started it probably fit pretty well. I think I've come a long way since then and think my Dad would be really proud.

Thanks for the complement on the tables, they were my first and to this point, only furniture build. Learned more than I can probably remember every step of the way. Cant wait to build more furniture. By the way, thanks again for the help on the box lid, Im definitely going to do it that way when I finally get time to build the box.
