Popular Post Keggers
I finally finished the Lego table for my Arkansas granddaughter. My wife and I are leaving today to deliver it to her as an early Christmas present. This is the second Lego table I've made using red oak. I decided to add a drawer this time. I don't mind the look of red oak but since I'll probably have to build two more of these things and I've already decided to make them with cherry wood. The top is a piece of 3/4" plywood that I edge banded with iron on red oak. It was pretty simple to apply. I applied two coats of Charles Neal's prefinish conditioner and then used an oil "cherry" stain with a top coat of Liberon Bison Wax. The Lego plates measure 10" x 10" and were attached using Rhino carpet tape. Hope she likes it! 8

I doubt it. I made it almost the length of the table top. About 28" long. I'm sure Santa is bringing more Legos for Christmas so we'll have to see.
