Franklin Sensors M210 stud finder

I hVe been disappointed by every stud finder I've ever tried before.  I had a job to do yesterday where finding a stud was essential.  After seeing some positive reviews and a couple of videos in action, I went out and bought this unit.  It's fantastic!  It not only works, but it accurate and repeatable and easier to use then others I tried.  It was expensive, but I don't regret the cost.

Now what to do with the old stud finder.  I'd give it away, but I don't know any one I dislike that much.

Most of the problems I've had with stud finders have been caused by low batteries.  I've taken to storing mine without batteries, and putting in fresh batteries whenever I use them.

I have the first generation one of those that is still my go to for most things.  It's great for putting up crown molding.  I can push the molding up to the ceiling with it and know where to shoot the nail.

Franklin is one of the best I've used. I have the lesser one with only 9 sensors & 13 lights, but found it at Harbor Freight for $35, so I couldn't pass it up.

I've had MANY stud sensors and that one is by far the best.
