wdwerker
Bravo ! Very well done .I always say do finish testing on scraps. Never thought there would be that big of a difference between boards. I still think the final result is wonderful.
Coop
You'll need to wash and dry the clothes before putting them in there. Great job!

wtnhighlander
Henry, that is just outstanding! You have accomplished a wonderful piece of functional artwork in less time than I would have needed to just lay it out! That is certainly something to be proud of. davewyo
Just magnificent! You should be very, very proud of your accomplishment. I would say that some strutting is in order. The whole project, from start to finish, was enjoyable and inspiring. The two tones of the lumber you used are wonderful, even if it was a happy accident. Please continue to show us some up-coming projects you're working on... MattSC
WOW what a wonderful project. I'm not lying when I say the final piece moved me. The attention to detail and execution is inspiring. I'm a newbie woodworker and Im gonna put a picture of this up in my shop (if thats ok with you) to remind myself that I should be putting 100% into my projects. wouldwurker
It was 100 threads ago, so I feel I have to remention it. All that amazing carving on the fronts, and there's still double secret mitred dovetails in there too...and if I recall he's woodworking in his kitchen! Truly amazing work Henry, I hope to see more of it in the future. Still don't think there should be dirty laundry in such a nice case. Maybe use it for money laundering :)
h3nry
Thanks guys ... yes it makes me smile every time I see it sitting in the corner of the room.Still there's one more task I need to do for this project ...put the scraps on the barbie and burn some steaks ... or maybe the other way round.
