BonPacific
Do you have a Rockler nearby? Mine carries a couple different lines of hinges, and one of them is 66% of Brusso quality. Can't remember the name unfortunately. Edit: Remembered the brand: Vertex. Unfortunately looks like its only brass or satin nickle.
Marmotjr
I know there's various ways to darken brass. I've watched a few of Adam Savage's (Mythbusters) videos on Tested where he ages/darkens brass through heat treatments. There's also Chemical processes that will do it: http://www.modelboatyard.com/blackening.html If you blacken the hinges yourself, it will give you more style choices.
