Somewhat Stickley inspired sideboard

Recommended Posts

I have to admit that I was not a fan of the hinges but after seeing the piece in the room and the room's over all style, I think it works out really well.  I guess it means you can't move or if you do, the sideboard will have to stay.

The sideboard came out beautiful, well done.

Beautiful wood and great craftsmanship in that piece! What was your finish process / product on it?

The stain color is called Michaels Cherry  followed by two coats of shellac and General Finish High Performance until I like the look or get tired of cleaning the fuji or sponge brush when its -15 degrees.

It came out better than I had hoped for from a retired bricklayer/wood hacke

B1rdhunter, Do you have some of your masonry work on the property? I would like to see it even though this is a woodworker site I'm sure nobody would mind seeing some of your art. Thanks
